The core of use case design is "accurate coverage + efficient iteration". The core goal of test case design is to "accurately cover quality risks and support efficient test execution". Traditional methods are the logical basis for use case design, ensuring that use cases meet business needs and quality risks; AI technology is the key to improving efficiency, helping testers break through design bottlenecks in complex scenarios and high-frequency iterations. The integration of the two is not a "replacement" but a "complementarity"—only by using traditional methods to control the quality of use cases and AI tools to improve design efficiency can we adapt to the development characteristics of software in the intelligent era.

Excellent test cases should not only cover "normal scenarios" but also accurately target "abnormal scenarios and boundary risks"; they must not only be "executable" but also "iterable and reusable". As a tester, you need to be proficient in the core logic of traditional use case design methods and at the same time learn to use AI tools to optimize the design process, avoiding falling into the misunderstandings of "pure manual inefficiency" or "pure AI inaccuracy". It is recommended that you try to use a large model to generate a use case for your own project and compare the time and coverage with traditional methods.
